New Jennerican Cemetery Tour

This lot is still a work in progress. I'll add paths and plots as the cemetery fills, but the "church" and reception area are officially finished. I took the photographs as I was working, so you may notice things missing in the background, namely, the church.

Death wants YOU for his army.

A bit less foreboding during the day.

Look Ma, it's not perfectly symmetrical!

Presents!

The bride & groom's table. Neat tip: Wedding cakes on non-playable commercial lots seem to regenerate between playings/families.

A buffet table and guest seating

For the reception goers to boogey (or smustle) down. The champagne is on a table opposite, looks just like this.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the short tour. I'll probably revisit the lot after a few citizens have departed, to show how it's filling up.

Oh nice! Love the entrance. I hope you're able to put it up for download at some point.

Thank you! Everything sort of blossomed from the grim reaper statue.

I've got it packaged now, just need to test the copy in game to make sure it's not weird in some way. Can you tell I haven't shared a lot of lots?

Pretty! It's kinda funny; the chapel reminds me of one that my husband and I were looking at for our wedding. :>

Thanks! That is kind of funny, but I did base it on all the little churches and chapels that I grew up around, and added a more romantic theme. I bet the venue you decided on was knock-out gorgeous, then.

Looks awesome! I love everything about it! I would love to download it :)

Thank you so much! I'm working on the download right now - just testing it to make sure it's not going to explode once installed.

You've done a lovely job. :D I quite like the present table, but the outdoor eating space is lovely too. I would say, "best of luck in filling it!" but that's a bit morbid, isn't it. XD

Thank you and thank you! It seems a little macabre to have a wedding reception with dead people all around, but eh.

Ha! I love the lucky wishes. You know when you gave the tour of your cemetery and mentioned a black widow challenge? I had been think of doing the exact same thing. It sounds terrible, but I'm eager for some poor Sim to kick the bucket already.

Lol, go for it. It's a cemetary, it needs gravestones. XD I suspect my next CAS sim will be doing that.

The church is especially pretty :)

Thank you very much!

Awesome lot! Very nicely decorated, and I love the exterior of that little church. Simply beautiful!

I think it looks great! I really need to make something like this in the near future for my BaCC hood. :)

Thanks! Being able to create non-owned cemeteries was a brilliant idea. Can't wait to see the one in Canterbury Cove!

Even if I reload and reload... I can't see any pictures :(

I'm sorry for the troubles - I uploaded these pictures to my account with godaddy, who was having problems & downtime this week. Maybe that was the cause of the trouble?

I don't know, I still can't see any pictures. Well, I'll keep trying^^

That's odd. I checked with a proxy in this browser, not logged in, I can see them all. I checked with a proxy in IE, cleaned cache and I can't load the page, but the pic before the cut is visible. Without the proxy but with a clean cache in IE, I can again see it all. Pictures show up in my browser on my phone.

*shakes fist at internets* Why are you being mean to people who want to see my things?!

Are all the other entries' pictures visible to you? It maybe that I have the pics in too many subfolders.

Can you see anything if you follow this link? http://jennerica.com/index2.php?sfpg=bmV3amVubmVyaWNhL2NvbW1lcmNpYWxfbG90cy9jZW1ldGFyeS8qKmUxOWY1YWU2YTAyODYwYmU0MWMxMzAzMzJjMjUyN2Nk

I have a .php gallery of images uploaded to the site. If you can't see it from here, you may at least be able to see it there

The link works fine for me, thank you!
Your cemetary looks great!

Hm, maybe the problem is caused by the fact that I'm in Germany. Your other entries are visible, I might have to use a proxy in the future if other entries won't work.
untidyfanuntidyfan on June 22nd, 2011 09:18 pm (UTC)
Thank you! I'm not sure for the cause of the problem, but I may start including links to the galleries in the posts as a precaution.
